SHOWCASE |
This webpage is a gallery dedicated to showcasing eight artifacts I created during my time in Michigan State's Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET) graduate program.
Four artifacts contain actionable ideas that I could bring into a classroom right now, two artifacts propose research-backed solutions to problems of practice are ready to be piloted in a classroom, and two artifacts that illustrate my commitment to growing professionally so I may continue to bring innovative ideas into the classroom. |
Sample Lesson Plans:
These two artifacts are sample lesson plans that demonstrate how I effectively integrate educational technology within my English Language Arts classroom. |
|
Digital Tools and Vocabulary Acquisition:
These two artifacts, a grant proposal and a professional development plan, propose using digital tools to address a problem of practice. These two research-supported artifacts argue for the use of educational technology to accelerate acquisition of new vocabulary terms, a problem of practice within all disciplines, and especially relevant within my English Language Arts classroom. |
|
Addressing Vulnerable Student Populations:
These two artifacts demonstrate the potential for educational technology to support vulnerable segments of the student population. |
|
In Active Pursuit of Professional Growth:
These two artifacts demonstrate that I have the technological literacies and access to the (professional) learning communities one would need to pursue new knowledge indepently. |
This blog post chronicles my experience with the Networked Learning Project (NLP), in which I exclusively used digital resources, like YouTube videos and message forums, to learn a new hobby. The literacy skills cultivated through this assignment may be used to pursue information on new instructional strategies or assessments, which I may utilize in my classroom.

This image showcases my evergrowing professional learning community (PLC). I may use the human capital in my PLC to develop new assessments and grow as a professional educator.
